BC3 Student Services

BC3 is a commuter campus. Our students live at home and work in their communities.Part of the challenge these days is to balance school, work and activities.

Contact the Office of Student Life to join over 20 clubs and organizations, to learn about The Executive Council for Students, and to obtain a Student Handbook which tells you everything you need to know about being a student at BC3.

BC3 40th Anniversary Commencement Ceremony

Our 2008 Commencement will be held on Thursday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. in the Field House.

Get Off To A Good Start!

Each orientation program is 3 hours and Includes a campus tour, plus time for you to buy your books, get a photo ID and parking pass for the year.

  • Bring your class schedule to get your books
  • Bring your driver's license, vehicle registration, and $20 to purchase your parking permit
  • Bring a photo ID in order to receive your student ID /Library card

The Office of Student Life

The Office of Student Life plans social activities and events for students to participate in throughout the year, from Movie Days in the Student Union to Monster Madness at Halloween to the Spring Fling semi-formal in April, and you can get involved!

Also, there are trips to see the Pittsburgh Penquins, My Fair Lady and The Lion King at the Benedum in Pittsburgh and to Seven Springs Resort for skiing in the winter.

Academic Counseling

To help you succeed in the classroom, there are counseling and advising services to provide support.

  • The Academic Center for Enrichment (ACE) advises students on course selection.
  • Counseling services help you adjust to college life;
  • Tutoring services facilitates free tutoring and
  • the ACT 101 Program assists with the development of academic and leadership skills.
