What Students Are Saying...

" Great opportunity. Price was fantastic." John Scobbie, Greenville HS, '06, Slippery Rock University (CWHS)

When I transferred my BC3 credits, "everything went very smooth! I wish I could have taken more classes sooner! I enjoyed the class! Overall, the class prepared me for a lot of reading requirements in college!" Quentin Graham, Farrell HS, '06, Bloomsburg University (DE)

"I enjoyed College Within the High School. The program was very helpful in preparing me for future college classes. I believe it is a great experience for high school students. Thank you!" Elizabeth Brown, Karns City HS, '06, Butler County Community College (CWHS)

"I took two College Within the High School classes, and it really was a great experience. It gave me the opportunity to earn college credits in my familiar high school setting. It offered me a chance to become used to college classroom expectations before I actually got there. I'm very satisfied with the knowledge I received and with the opportunity to take part in such a great program." Katrina Herring, Cochranton HS, '06, Mercyhurst College (CWHS)

"This program was excellent. Because my high school did not offer several classes that I was considering to major in at college, BCCC helped provide the groundwork for my college career." Adam Baker, Leechburg HS, '06, Westminster College (CWHS)

From a CWHS Instructor

"The College Within the High School program is an excellent program that allows students in high school to obtain college level credits while still in high school. Perhaps even more importantly, it gives students a hands-on understanding of the rigors and complexity of a college level class at a very affordable rate. It also shows the excellent relationship that Butler County Community College has developed and invested in the community."Brad Pflugh, Knoch HS

From a Guidance Counselor

"In the classes that have been taught at Greenville High School, I've seen growth and maturity in the students and a sense of confidence about attending college, not to mention the cost savings as well. It's been a great accelerated option for our students who want to get a head start on college!" Fred Kiser, Greenville HS

From an Administrator

"Butler County Community College's College Within the High School program is an outstanding addition to our high school curriculum. Our students are afforded college level classes at our high school for a great price. We use our teachers which is an added benefit to our students as well as our teachers. BC3 allows our high school students the opportunity to experience college level coursework at an affordable rate. BC3 has generated a lot of enthusiasm among our student body, especially with courses that we would not be able to offer otherwise" Dr. Douglas Hazlett, Assistant Superintendent, Sharpsville Area School District
