The BC3 Education Foundation, Inc., is the fundraising branch of Butler County Community College and raises funds to enhance the facilities and to support educational programs. Through annual gifts from The Foundation, the college is able to purchase needed equipment and technology to support student success.
Butler County Community College Education Foundation enhances the experiences of BC3 students by providing external resources to support the college's mission. As the private fundraising organization of the College, the Foundation is a driving force that links the community, students, alumni, businesses, organizations, and foundations to an environment of innovation, energy, creativity, and accomplishment.

1985
Butler County Community College Education Foundation chartered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
1987
Foundation Board organized and held its first meeting. Private gifts held by the college transferred - $55,000.
1992
Annual Campaign launched - $32,000. Staff provided by current administration and part-time secretary.
1995
Full time Executive Director for the Foundation hired. Painchaud Chair for Metrology created - $155,000.
1996
Annual Campaign raises $110,000 First Annual Golf Outing - $15,000
1997
Foundation provides a $5,000 grant to assist in the creation of an Alumni Association.
1998
Planned giving program instituted. Planning study for Capital Campaign conducted.
1999
First Capital Campaign announces $3.5 million goal.
2000
30 acres of Succop property accepted.
2001
30 acres sold to Butler Country Club. Remaining 50 acres accepted creating the Succop Conservancy.
2002
Charitable Gift Annuity program initiated.
2003
Capital Campaign concludes - raised $4.4 million. College family - $120,000
2004
Fulltime Alumni/Annual Campaign Director hired 9th Annual Golf Outing - $ 43,000 First Distinguished Alumni Awards Program First Pioneer/Alumni Golf Outing Pioneer Perspective Newsletter published
The Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Gifts are payable to the BC3 Education Foundation, Inc. and are tax deductible as permitted by law.
