The Nursing and Allied Health Division offers programs in three health-related fields including:
Students in these programs engage in a variety of clinically-based learning experiences while receiving instruction from qualified faculty. Graduates are prepared for employment in numerous health care settings.
The Butler County Community College (BC3) Nursing Program is fully accredited by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

The Massage Therapy Program provides a comprehensive academically-based education that serves the community by preparing the graduate for immediate employment as a massage therapist. Graduates earn a certificate and are prepared to demonstrate competence by displaying professional attitude, ethical conduct and appropriate communication.

Completion of the Nursing Program qualifies students for an Associate Degree in Applied Science Degree. Throughout the 65 credit curriculum, students gain clinical skills in a health field with advanced technology. They also gain a broad scope of knowledge required to practice nursing. Students experience varying areas of nursing specialization in a variety of practice settings. Through these experiences, students are given increasing levels of responsibility including independent problem-solving and ethical decision-making.

The Physical Therapist Assistant Program is an academically based program that prepares graduates for employment in the role of a PTA and as a member of the health care team. The PTA carries out treatments which have been designated by the Physical Therapist and communicates changes in patient's condition which require the Physical Therapist to reassess the treatment program. Graduates earn an Associate in Applied Science Degree. This program is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) 1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 (Phone: 703-706-3245).
