Humanities & Social Sciences

The Humanities and Social Sciences Division is responsible for nine transfer programs and four occupational programs. In addition to general education courses in the humanities and social sciences, the division offers courses in physical education, health, preparatory English and reading.

Traditional & Distance Education

Dedicated faculty members demonstrate their expertise by teaching in both traditional and distance education formats. Many use technology to enhance the classroom experience. Humanities and Social Sciences faculty also engage in scholarly research and college and community service.

Praxis Courses

The division's Education Department offers Praxis I and II preparation courses. Required for BC3 education majors, these courses are also offered to service students at other senior institutions. These include:
